This wonderfully exciting new song entitled Infinitesimally Insignificant must be
the most original composition I have heard for months, apart from the
instrumental genius of composer Kluane
Takhini it stars master Bulgarian kaval (a
chromatic end-blown oblique flute) player Vladimir Velichkov, and one of the finest trumpet performers on the
globe in James Hill.
Infinitesimally
Insignificant is a
crafted arrangement that holds many genres within its arms, but caresses the
realm of a global fusion with an ease that is truly palpable. The sublime flow
of this slice of instrumental magic is weaved in a multi-instrumental nature,
one that is so in-depth we could be listening to a future film segment or
soundtrack.
With Hill’s mournful refrain, the gentle acoustic guitar and
other pertinent instrumentation from the ultra-talented creator Kluane Takhini, and then when you add
in the talents of kaval player Velichkov, you not only have a winning team, but
a song that has so much to unpack within its constraints, that you may well
have to take in multiple listens to truly appreciate all the classy nuances.
This is simply some of the highest quality instrumental music
you are likely to find around today, and as such, it should be a massive hit on
the charts.
