It’s been a nice transition for me lately, we have gone from
summer to autumn, and now my writing skills today drift from a plethora of solo
piano albums and singles, and into the welcome arms of a guitar based new
manifestation called Hot Swing by
guitarist supreme Hernán Navarro.
Here is a vibrant new offering, one that at times reminds me
of Puerto Rico acoustic performer Victor Samalot, in its vibrancy, bounce
and of course its emphatic energy, here Navarro captures the mood of dance and rhythm
in a perfect pastiche of musical colours and flavours.
Hot Swing is the title track for the brand new
album, and proudly is the opening piece, you should really check out the
YouTube video as well! If ever a guitar based track will capture your imagination
this one will, packed with gypsy styled motifs and filled with fun and joy.
This new single is literally infectious, and even though it
is just a short 137 seconds long, it has a vibrancy which will pull you in and
never let you go. I have a feeling that this one is going to be a popular song,
so check out the album of the same name and enjoy Hot Swing from Hernán
Navarro.
