Peter Catucci is back with a brand new single
called Boca Ciega, after his last
single that I received back in 2024 called Another
Me I was eager to break into the latest offering and I wasn’t to be
disappointed. A flowing rock pastiche of both power and fluency can be found
here.
The minor structures in this new single and the gentle
segments made this compositions truly stand out for me, and the Brian May styled guitar solo at over 2:20
doubly so, this is a real rock treat, one that has such a neat commercial flow,
but also one that retains its rock nature at all times, uncompromised in all
its glory.
Boca Ciega Bay is a body of water connected to us
in the world of reality and normalcy, in the Gulf of Mexico; it has dolphins too,
and now a classy rock song as well, by one of the finest rock musicians originally
from NYC, and the combination of Trevor
Drushal on electric and acoustic guitars, and the chief of the engine room
on drums, mister Jeff Poppe, they
truly bring home the musical bacon big time, and the addition of Anna Paloma (backing
vocals) raised the rhythms of the piece amazingly.
You can’t question class when you see it and hear it, and this new manifestation from Catucci is literally inspiring to say the least, a rock song, a little American roots, and compelling vocals and bass of a true man of rock in Peter Catucci with the outstanding Boca Ciega, it is a special treat that any rock aficionado should not miss out on.
