There is always something special in that moment when a new Rick Sparks composition is on offer, a sense of happiness and pleasure runs through your reality, as you know the next five minutes or so is going to be a blissful experience, that aforementioned statement would never be truer, after a listen to the musicians latest single Sea Wind.

This one is especially meaningful for me as I live literally minutes from the coastline, a delight I am honoured to have when I want it, a walk down the path, across the sands, and towards the silky waves of the Mediterranean, this composition gives me that feeling of treading the costal tracks in our sparkling winter, when the beaches are bare and there is no one around.

The high elevation of tone and timbre here are magnificent, the ethereal and angelic vocals deliver a vista of such radiant beauty, then as we approach the half way juncture a little depth and reflection are added in a piece that is as breath taking as it is beautiful.
