There is a lush fluency about this brand new solo piano
single called Golden Hour by John Hamilton, so much so that you
could leave it on repeat for hours and still be wrapped in its tender arms of warmth
and tranquillity, and not even notice the passage of time that had passed.
This new offering comes on the back of 4 other singles
released earlier this year, all of them pristinely beautiful to behold, this
new composition has a whole world of feelings and moods contained within, yet
it still could be so easily a melody for a single moment in time.
This aforementioned fluency is so serenely created by the
artist; Hamilton on the piano is one of the most blissful things you could wish
for in this extremely packed genre, on this new manifestation, and in just
under 150 seconds, Hamilton raises the energies of hope, adds a little
reflection and memory into the proceedings, and produces a both rhythmic and
memorable melody to enjoy, whilst watching a glorious sunset perhaps.
Golden Hour by John Hamilton maybe a short form musical narrative, but it’s
creative and artistic compositions like this, that give me hope, hope that the
skill set of producing music of great a quality and symbiotically partnered
with a stylish performance still abounds in the solo piano genre, we need more
music like this to start our days with, and as such I can see this charming
piece gracing the charts post haste and maybe even be award worthy too.
