The musical pen of Sonya
Haramis has been in full flow lately, but today I came across a brand new
single from her that could well be described as one of her finest instrumental
compositions yet, and called Embers of
the Soul.
Her phrasing on this new single is some of the best I have
heard in this field since Llewellyn
released Journey to the Fairies back
in 2003. Haramis has captured the moment here beautifully, and her smooth
approach on keyboards manifests a textured process that takes the listener on a
veritable journey of the soul itself.
The keyboard progression is carefully and artistically drawn
to bring a wondrous immersive experience for the listener, on a composition
that should obtain a rank of timeless mastery from fans of the new age genre
worldwide, whilst pacifying an audience of grateful instrumental music fans as
well.
In my view this is the best work from the artist thus far,
her desire to paint a musical picture of defined ambience here on a bed of
careful tone has been obtained, and one that with exceptional keyboard nuances
too has garnered success, and I truly hope that Embers of the Soul by Sonya Haramis will achieve greatness on the charts too, it is that
good.
