Sonya Haramis is back with another tantalising new
single called Call to the Mountain. This
vibrant new creation brings yet another layer of charismatic and mesmeric tone
and timbre to the proceedings in this most addictive of compositions.
A mix of electronic pads and keyboard arrangements manifests
something so original, that the surreal sense of the creation seems to brought
into existence as it moves ever onward, in a march towards its symbiotic goal,
a dualistic reality of tonal mastery is most certainly achieved here, hand in
hand with some of the most creative percussive elements you will ever come
across.
Haramis is a fine instrumentalist of inimitable talent, and
should stand alone in her genre of a mixture of ambience, one I first heard
from New York band So Percussion back
in the early part of this century.
Here is a unique form; a special cadence of keyboards fall
from the mountains of sound upon the listener, with an ambience that will
pacify any musical ear, and in doing so will bring a milieu of absolute
fascination from the open minded listener, for Call to the Mountain by Sonya
Haramis.
