Awakening Mountain

There is nothing quite like a moment of solo flute to ease
one into the day, the humble refrains of a flute played well, echo through the
ages, in a timeless reverie of artistic joy. Here Gindhart performs on Native
American styled flute and his latest single creation is called Awakening Mountain.
I have had the pleasure over the years of listening to solo
flautists like Nigel Shaw, David Rose,
and R. Carlos Naki, each of those and many others set the scene immediately
with their presentations. I am elated to say that Larry continues that theme
and does that very same thing here on Mountain
Awakening.
This short form but beautiful opus is breath taking, as a
small island here in Cyprus, we’re blessed with three mountain ranges, two of
them very close to our home and our hearts, and this splendid new single
composition would work perfectly watching the sunrise over the peaks. I must
say that Gindhart as a flute performer has that artistic nuance that allows his
skill set to flow freely like a late winter stream, simply put this is truly
solo flute at its very best and very descriptive, and I can see nothing but
success on the horizon for Awakening
Mountain by Larry Gindhart Music.
