This new single from Heidi
Breyer comes at the perfect time, as I have just completed my very own Morning Meditation, feeling the sounds
of the day around me and completely being in the moment, such bliss and
oneness.
Here the artist is at her ambient best, the mood created here
is warming and deeply calming, the piece itself has a delicate melodic
structure, but overall seems to manifest its own serene direction and reminds
me in energy to such meditative greats like David
Naegele’s, Temple in the Forest,
but without natural sounds.
Heidi’s natural flow has full power here, her muse constructs
wonderfully light soothing tones and vibrations, this for me could have been a
long form piece of at least ten minutes long, and I would have loved it as much
as I do this one. The musician has built a frame and allowed her creative contemplative
sense to do the rest, I have a feeling this is one of those singles that could
very well be described as timeless, I certainly think it is one of the best
solo piano meditative styled tracks I have heard for at least 10 years.
