Rick Sparks has become widely known as one of
the most sensitive performers of his genre and the new age scene is all the
better for it. My Valentine, his
latest single, originally composed by Paul McCartney, is probably one of Ricks
most beautiful arrangements as of yet, the flute sounds and keyboards manifest
a rich tapestry of sound and depth.
At times listening to this colourful offering, one can be
transported back to some of the great romantic movies of yesteryear; this is
film score standard without doubt, and in my view probably one of the top 3
compositions that Sparks has ever penned, a sure fire hit with ease.
